When you select your favourite photo it will be retouched. That simply means that any blemishes, pimples, marks, and uneven skin tones will be removed. It’s up to you if you would like to remove any feature marks like moles or beauty spots. Depending on your age and your look, you may also like to retain or even emphasise facial age lines. Just let us know.

After that your image may be cropped into different aspect ratios depending on what the photo is going to be used for. The default ratio is 4×6 but the industry standard for headshots, for example, is 8×10.

Versions of your image will then be colour graded. For actors this often means an Orange / Teal cast to replicate the colour grading seen on film. This is very useful as it means that, if you are an actor, casting agents can see what you might look like on film. Depending on the image, however, I may also throw in additional colour castings (At no extra charge) so that you have a spread of impactful versions of your photo.

You will also be provided with a black and white version of each selected image. Black and white headshots, sometimes called Bromides, are a traditional headshot format which is still popular today in live theatre casting.
